Chaka Khan Enters Rehab For Addiction To Prescription Painkillers
During the month of April 2016, Prince Rogers Nelson died due to an accidental overdose of Fentanyl, an opioid pain killer. It is a synthetic Opiate.
Chaka Khan now wants to fight against her addiction to the painkiller Fentanyl which lead to Prince’s death. She has joined a rehabilitation centre to get healthy and stay away from the pain killer.
“Unfortunately, I will miss concert appearances over the summer,” she told the AP in a statement. “However, it’s vital that I put my health and well-being first. I know that I am disappointing some of my fans, but I also know they would want me to recover and be well and healthy.”
According to Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Fentanyl is 100 times more potent than heroine. That being said, if you are smart, you really need to stop using harmful pain killer. Look for alternative treatments.
